What would I like to write a book about?

     This prompt is fairly simple for me, considering that I am already writing a book. However, I would also like to write a book about something else given the opportunity and inspiration to do so. While yes, it might sound overambitious with school and outside life to deal with as well, I think it is a good thing to fit into my schedule due to how writing makes me feel and also because it helps improve my writing skills overall. Some day I plan on publishing the book I'm working on when I finish it and polish it up. Anyway I am getting sidetracked, the question is what would I like to write a book about.

    The book I am currently writing is an adventure/fantasy novel. In fact, most things that I am writing, plan on writing, and even just consider writing are adventure/fantasy. I personally really enjoy the adventure/fantasy theme. That being said, the one I am writing is about three young mages leaving their home due to a series of both fortunate and unfortunate circumstances. The story follows their adventure through the world, switching between their individual perspectives. Thinking about it now, I think it would be better to split it into three separate novels, since the scope of time is rather large, but we'll see later I suppose.

    Now, onto my more relevant answer of what I would like to write a book about but haven't yet. This one actually ties into the one I mentioned before, but instead it follows a different set of characters from the same universe. After some time this set of characters will come across the first three, and their stories will intertwine a bit. Writing this I have realized that I could totally have their stories get closer together over time and culminate to one big conclusion. So thank you, writing prompt, for giving me an amazing idea for my writing. 

    These are actually only a small portion of the ideas floating around in my head. I believe I could write at least 17 more books with unique characters. My notes app is filled with story ideas and is actively filling with more. Am I just a bit overambitious to think I'll get around to them all? Yes, I am definitely overambitious, but it is proving itself to be a fun hobby and also a way to channel my thoughts. If anything I could always just write short stories rather than full novels. But that is for another day.
